The Autism Trust is on a mission to provide futures with purpose for all individuals with autism and associated conditions. Our goal is to ultimately fulfill this mission through the development of a network of consistently outstanding and innovative centers for autism and related disorders worldwide.
We need your help to win approval of a visionary plan to create the first Autism Center of its kind in northwest Austin.
On Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 6PM at Austin City Hall, the Austin Zoning and Platting Commission will hold a critical public hearing. At this meeting, they will vote to approve a plan to divide 82 acres in northwest Austin into 2 parts: 40 acres for a new Autism Center and 42 acres for new homes built by MileStone Community Builders.
If approved, funds from the sale of homes in the residential portion will go to an endowment to help support the creation of the Autism Center Austin along with MileStone supporting its infrastructure and facility development.
