Welcome to the 2018-19 school year here at Baldwin Elementary! Starting a school year can bring about some big feelings for both your student and yourself. Transitions can be especially challenging for kiddos with special needs. Here is some great information that you may find helpful as you and your child navigate this time of year.
Additionally the Campus Parent Ambassador Program will be back for a fourth year! Sign up to receive emails when information is posted here on this site! Click on "Who We Are" on the drop down menu in the upper right corner. In the meantime, be on the lookout for a fun and informative session at the end of September. We will kick off the year with a lot of great information, a speaker, and some new ideas to make this program more helpful to you as parents. Also, there will be a bulletin board coming soon to the school lobby...near the PTA mailbox. Flyers and updates will be posted there, just as they are on this site. One more way to stay informed! I hope you had a relaxing summer, made some great memories, and are looking forward to a year full of new horizons, brightness, and growth.

I hope that going from summer into fall has been a fairly smooth one for all of you and your kiddos. And if this is your first year at Baldwin or you're just coming upon this site, I'm so glad you're here. Mrs. Murray and I are eager to host 3-4 CPAP gatherings touching on ways to help your child thrive, as well as ways to support yourselves and your families as parents and guardians of a student receiving special education services. We will get that information to you soon. In the meantime, the incredible Family and School Support Team FASST hosts numerous events and get-togethers that you may find of interest. See the flyer below. Looking forward to seeing you at one of our functions soon, and feel free to reach out anytime! You can contact me through this website. |
